This 3D interactive allows you to rotate and clip into a MRI scan of grapes.
Grapes are well-packaged by nature as a quick snack. Whole grapes are naturally low in sodium and are a good source of fiber.
The skin, stems, and seeds of grapes are rich in antioxidants including flavonoids and resveratrol, which has been noted for contributing antioxidant qualities to red wine (made from grape skin and pulp; white wine is made only from pulp).
Allowing varying nutritional contents by type, grapes are mostly water (80%) and total about 60 calories per cup. However, raisins, which are dried grapes, are only about 15% water so their calorie counts are far more concentrated. A cup of raisins contains over 450 calories.
